"Looking forward to another Blackened chicken salad. Fish taco is very good. Very good pinot noir. Cozy place with very good service."
"I lived in the area 35 years ago and used to enjoy a family style restaurant at the location now occupied by Finnegan's and could not imagine being disappointed. The current owner has upgraded the restaurant nicely, and it still has a wonderful relaxed feeling to it. The food was excellent in both preparation and presentation. Service wS attentive but not intrusive, and the 2- piece band was Very enjoyable. Even living 1500 miles away, I have family in the area who introduced me to Finnegan's because they enjoy it. I'll be back."
"Stopped here for a quick lunch before driving downstate and all I can say is wow, this place is amazing. Arrived around 12:15pm on a Thursday and was greeted and seated immediately. Was solo so I sat at the bar but a few of the tables near the big window with the gorgeous view of the lake were filling up. I had been craving wings so the small wing plate appetizer was the main draw and I got a crock of the chili too since I wasn’t feeling like crushing a lb or dozen of wings myself. The chili was great and definitely deserving of its award winning accolade but the Jordan-esque wings absolutely blew me away, I wish I’d gotten a full order. For $8 the small wing plate appetizer is 4 jumbo jordan-esque wings, no substitutions. The wings were definitely jumbo and cooked to perfection - crispy skin, juicy meat, and a house sauce that adheres perfectly to the wing without falling off and pooling on the plate. House wing sauces I’ve encountered are often a lazy buffalo/garlic parm/bbq whatever but this jordan-esque sauce was unlike anything I’ve had before. One of the servers was telling me that customers have ordered/purchased the sauce to go and I can see why. At first I wondered about not having been served bleu cheese for dunking but after my first bite it was apparent that these wings need no dipping sauce. My bartender/server was one of the owners Stephanie and she was genuinely appreciative that I came in and liked the food. I wish I lived closer because I’d love to come in for some of the live music or other things they have going on here - and to have these wings again!"
"Order over the phone well ahead of time, putting in for a Georgia Ruben with Fries, a Small Salad with Peppercorn Dressing, and the Pretzel and Beer Cheese. Altogether everything came to a little over $40. Arrived on time to pickup and my meal was completely ready and waiting, paid for it all and was on my way home excited for dinner. Opening it up everything looked pretty good, almost in-restaurant quality looking. Digging in I found the Pretzel and Beer Cheese was beyond expectations, the cheese was amazing with its blend of two cheese and the beer. It stuck to the sticks in just the right amount, I was just blown away. The salad was made to specification and a good way to break before the main course, peppercorn dressing was the right call. And then there was the Georgia Ruben aka the Rachel. Now I do like a good turkey Ruben, but I'm not a fan of coleslaw, and this sandwich had some real fresh coleslaw on it in a pretty thick layer. Of course the sandwich was great, but, I just can't stand coleslaw so it sort of muddled the waters. But that's a me issue, so I won't deduct points for my poor choice of sandwich."
"This is a casual dinning with a great view on the lake. They have a big menu and good choice of side dishes. The waitress was friendly, food came relatively quickly even though the restaurant was pretty busy. I got turkey wrap and Mac salad. The wrap was not my favorite compared with other restaurants but my husband and friends food looked very good. I really liked the Mac salad, very tasty. We'll definitely go back."
