"Polar Express was magical. My 2 (almost 3) year old enjoyed every minute. This train ride brought the movie to life and it was so special to be able to share it with my son. From the hot chocolate, to cookies as big as his head, all the characters from the movie, first gift of Christmas, all the lights and songs - definitely a great way to feel the Christmas spirit. Will return for years to come. Thank you."

"We had a good time on the Adirondack Railroad scenic train ride from Utica, NY to Thendara with a three hour stopover in Old Forge, NY. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The train had an open window car so you could take pictures. It wasn't the cleanest, but it worked for unobstructed views without a window reflection."

"My wife and I frequent the area but this was our first time visiting in the fall and knew we had to try the scenic railroad ride to Otter Lake. It was a really nice ride and got some nice photos but our train left and hour and a half late and the ride was cut short to accommodate the next train to Big Moose which was very annoying. Everyone is volunteer so we were just grateful to experience the ride and I do recommend giving it a go for the price. Just don't have any dinner reservations lol."

"We rode the “Fall Gateway” this past weekend. We were from out of State for a family reunion and decided to stay an extra day to ride the train. It was wonderful! Everyone was so nice and made sure our trip exceeded our expectations!! Next time that we are in Utica we will go again!"
