"Very disappointed. Shopped through their online catalog on December 5 and ordered 2 records for Christmas. When I hadn't heard anything for a couple of days, I called the shop and was told "the warehouse handles that" and the records should be out soon. After STILL not hearing anything by December 15, I emailed the shop and was told they don't have the records I ordered. Why allow me to order records you don't have? Why did the person answering the phone when I called indicate the records were in the shipment process? Why were they unable to reach out to me and let me know that the order was not going to be able to go through? Schoolkids Records and Hunky Dory are far superior"
"This place is a bit strange. I don’t mind digging through a hoarder’s den, but when you own a shop and you have certain crates covered with t-shirts meant to serve as “not for sale” signs, and you tell the customers “not to look in there,” that’s when things get weird."
"I went to go browse around and I was met with a “know it all” old man who was very rude and honestly should be fired for his customer service skills. Horrible. Being nasty about my record problem. Told him what kind of record player I had and then totally degraded me. FIRE THIS MANN! Hope this location either gets a new owner or shuts down due to sales"
"I went on April 22 for the Record Store Day to attempt to find the Folklore long pond studio a vinyl by taylor swift. i was searching in the green bin with all the other record store day items, where he told us to search, knowing he didn’t have any and told us to search anyways. there were vinyls kicked up in a box that i though we could search through because it was open and i saw other people going through them as well. he told us to go check anywhere there so i thought it was okay. so i went to look through it and then he comes over and yells really loud at us, being ruder than the devil, being so disrespectful and then kicking us out. truly terrible service and i would not want to give him any service. if he didn’t want people going through the boxes then he shouldn’t have them out for people to look though, or set up a sign or write a box. he should not treat his paying customers like that."
"Adam is very knowledgeable about his inventory and he values giving the customers a good experience. He doesn’t cater to the mass-produced-dime-a-dozen clientele. Picked up some artists I’ve never heard of! Excited to stop back by Record Krate the next time I’m town."
