"As of May 23/2023, the ferry is not operational. There is no indication of when it will open. As a cyclist, it was very disappointing to have to go to detour to the Thousand Islands bridge and get some help there. Please provide an update as to when it may actually open for others."

"The best way to cross the NY Canada border, no long lines. I’d suggest a signage upgrade because if you arrive and the ferry is not there it’s hard to tell if it’s actually operating or not. There was 1 sign that simply said pull forward onto the ramp. Through no fault of their own, the ramp was flooded with 4-6 inches of water due to high river conditions. The captain is a master at parking about 8 cars on the small ferry."

"Good experience crossing into another country on a small ferry. One of only a few privately run border crossings. Still operated by the same family who started it in the 1700's but sadly this will be the last generation. Cash only."
