"Mike was the best DJ!! Once you decide to go with split second they have you fill out questionnaires and details to help them understand what you want and venue details. Once the wedding gets closer they call you and talk you through the songs and timing of things. I was happy that Mike was experienced and honest with my questions so that I could make the best decisions for our wedding(after all it was my first one and I didn’t know how things would be the day of). The night of the wedding he accommodated all changes or announcements with my wedding planner and played music appropriately for the atmosphere while playing our favorites. He made a shy group really come out of their shell and dance!! Recommended 100%."

"Split Second Sounds was amazing from start to finish. Their company as a whole is admirable. I was very indecisive in the beginning and they were kind and understanding. I was originally assigned to DJ Todd with no MC. We had a call and chatted for a while about all of my expectations and he was great! Unfortunately, a few days before the wedding, Todd had to be replaced due to some serious health issues. They assigned my wedding to DJ Matt and included an MC at no extra cost to make sure the day ran smoothly. They made the transition quickly and seamlessly. I didn’t feel stressed at all! I chatted with Matt for about an hour going over the timeline. An hour. That is all Matt had to go off of and the day went PERFECTLY. We had a party crowd and my only request was to keep the dance floor full all night. DJ Matt and MC Cliff were phenomenal. It was the party of my dreams!!! There were all ages on the dance floor all the way up until the last song. The photo below was the last song of the night and something I will remember forever. Also wanted to add that my heart goes out to Todd and his family. Split Second Sounds has rallied behind him during this difficult time. You can tell that the owners and all their employees love and respect each other."

"I highly recommend working with Split Second Sound if you're looking for a DJ in the Charlotte, NC area!! From start to finish, they were amazing. During the consultation they explain all of the options & packages in depth. Once you pick your DJ - that's where the fun begins! We had DJ Mike (Michael Glass) and he was AMAZING! He was so helpful during the planning process, asking us questions like "what's the groom's NEED TO HEAR song?" etc... but during the actual reception, he never let the party stop! The dance floor was crowded the entire time because of DJ Mike! Our guests loved how he went around during dinner & asked for any requests. So thoughtful & fun!"

"We used DJ Todd Havens for our wedding reception on April 15, 2023. Todd was so helpful and was a great DJ! Leading up to our wedding, he communicated with me to make sure that we had the timeline correct and that he was aware of everything that was needed on his end. The day of went super smoothly. As far as the reception goes, I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a fun, dance party! He was great at reading the room and knowing exactly what people were wanting to hear. He accommodated requests and was super good at mixing the songs so that people wouldn't get tired of hearing the full song."
