"I waited 3 months for this appointment, when I arrived for my appointment I was told to take a look at frames and would be called back shortly, after 35 minutes I asked if there was a problem and then was informed my eye exam was a telehealth appointment. I asked where that information was given to me and the response was I don't know? Because it was not told to me prior to my appointment. In my opinion an eye exam cannot be done over Zoom. I cancelled my appointment and left."

"Best frame selection always. Staff works really hard and maintains a calm and positive environment even when they're understaffed. Workers are approachable, helpful, knowledgeable and caring. Telehealth visit was super easy and simple, all the tests and visit with the doctor were quick and everything was very well explained. Telehealth doctor was also very well mannered and caring and really went out of her way to explain every part of the exams and ensure she wasn't leaving any questions unanswered. They have great deals for those who don't have insurance or it isn't accepted - though even without, pricing is reasonable. Their hard work is evident in the quality of their services. I absolutely recommend."

"For years now I’ve been going to my vision works location in Batavia NY, in the BJ’s plaza. Recently I’ve scheduled an appointment for Saturday January 20th 2024 for 11:40. Upon arriving at my appointment the secretary was rude to me from the beginning. Giving me a nasty look and not sitting properly to engage in conversation. She told me that my appointment that was booked weeks prior couldn’t be done today because the optometrist that was supposed to do the appointment didn’t show up. Why is there only one optometrist working at this location? And why does she have such limited availability? The secretary then proceeded to tell me that I wouldn’t be able to have an appointment until March of 2024. I depend on my glasses 24/7 and without them I’m more likely to run into a wall then an actual blind person. My glasses are broken and falling apart and my vision is already blurring from the years of wear I have on them. I told her I couldn’t wait til March. So she scheduled my for an appointment the following Monday at a sister location that is nearly an hour away. Again my glasses are BROKEN, I cannot drive or do not have a ride to go a hour ways away. Why couldn’t someone from a sister location come to the location with no optometrist? The vision works in Batavia needs to hire more people who actually show up to work and hire friendlier staff that doesn’t give attitude. Thankyou."

"The eye DR is wonderful, the staff in the front not so much. Sam was irritated (sits in back of store, on right hand side-long hair- usually on her phone) that I wanted my glasses tightened. She clearly doesn’t want to be there, and always looks down on people."

"I really enjoyed coming here. I would bring myself and my son here. Everything was good until recently. I booked an appointment weeks in advance online (how they recommend). The Saturday before my son's Monday appointment, they call and cancel because they aren't open for his appointment time. Why is someone calling 2 days before his appointment on a weekend only a few hours until they close to rectify this???? This appointment has been booked well in advance!!! When I tried to call back and reschedule, it is IMPOSSIBLE to speak to a human. You can use chat online and it is a stupid robot that doesn't understand. Now we can get an appt until next year!!!! Insane!!!"
