"Ordered a steak burrito, the burrito if you could call it that was 95% purple rice, with lettuce that was all yellow. Counted 5 pieces of steak after I emptied the contents out onto a plate after 4 full purple rice bites. Don’t eat here it’s overpriced and Chipotle or Moes is way better."
"I frequent this location multiple times a week. The Buffalo Southwest Chicken bowl is my go-to and is amazing every time. I've tried a few other bowls here and they were okay. The atmosphere is nice and the staff are usually on-point. Out of the many many times I've been here __in-person__ there have only been a handful of screwups and they were caught + corrected before I left. I'm a big guy and am easily filled up by half a large bowl (essentially 2 meals for the price of one) without the need for any sides. The price of a regular bowl is too high and isn't worth it. A large bowl, which costs marginally more than a regular bowl, and side from here is roughly $12-$16 total. Chipotle and Moe's are nearly double the cost for an equivalent meal that is less filling. That being said, the price really can't be beat as far as eating out goes. I'm not sure that the price complaints in some of the other reviews I've read are actually justified. Update: The issues I was having with online ordering / pickup appear to have been resolved. As such, I've updated my review."
"On my first visit to this restaurant, I ordered the Buffalo Southwest Chicken Bowl with ranch dressing. On the positive side, the warm purple rice, black beans, and corn on the bottom of the bottom of the bowl were good. However, the small firm cubes of chicken we're covered with a bland buffalo sauce, and the ranch dressing added little flavor to the dish. The halved cherry tomatoes were mixed, some were ripe with a slight sweetness but most were hard and underripe. I couldn't figure out why the dish included green salsa. It didn't seem to pair with any component of the bowl. Overall, the meal was only okay. My wife ordered a build-your-own salad bowl with tofu as the protein and two dressings. After finishing our meal, we went back to look over the assembly line and noted that the steak look pretty good. If we return, we'll order that."
"Salad for the amount you pay and it was only filled up to 2/3 of the bowl and the soup was cold not even warm at all tomato bisque. Service the girl who served didn't say hello made me stand there waiting for over 5 minutes on her cell phone. Over priced for the poor service, cold soup and little amount of salad."
"Loved the Core in N. Syracuse. Was very excited when Core opened closer to my home. This restaurant has been unable to live up to that the one in N. Syracuse. Love healthy, fresh options. Decided to give it another try. $30.00 for 2 salads. Open them up and both salads had brown lettuce. Tried to call so I can at least let the manager know so they can work on correcting the problem. No answer. I would love to be able to go here more often, but it's definitely like night and day from N. Syracuse."
