"Ambience and food was great. The people were not. It was our first time there as a group and a lot of weird guys tried to barge into our space . The supposed "locals" had no sense of giving others privacy. Overall experience was plain creepy. The bouncer was busy in hitting on women as well rather than doing his job. I hope management takes a note of this and makes it safer."

"Dig the atmosphere, but was double charged for my beer when they ran my PayPal card and said it couldn't preauthorize; paid with me debit instead. The PayPal was charged for its entire remaining balance (under $20, but still). EDIT TO UPDATE: Because of the reply and offer to clear this up, I'm upgrading my ratings. Cheers."

"We moved into Elmwood last summer and we first stopped in here when we first looked at our place. Forever grateful for a homey, friendly dive bar serving up tofu Sammie’s down the street. We love comin to drink here to forget what’s getting us down in life. Bartenders are always super friendly and it hasn’t been too too busy on the busier nights if that makes any sense. "I work here and still find myself here on my days off, I can come here with a frown and end up with a smile in 15 minutes or less. It’s one of those places that just sorta warps time. Low incentive to pack a work lunch cos the food is killer and there’s always a special to try. My favorite is chilly season, but that’s just because the chili rocks. The level of play on the pool table is high but people are warm and friendly in the 99 percentile. Come on down give it a spin"
