"I worked for Bob and Sue for a couple of years as a guide and have taken college students there on several trips. They probably have the best rates on the river, the guides are awesome, and when I worked there I was treated like family...even though I tore a whole in one boat and flipped another. If you want a great whitewater trip on the Black River, call B.O.B. and tell them "Jockey Jim" sent you."

"Took a trip down the Black River. Got wet. Great trip, great guide. We had to walk a couple of areas in the rapids that we normally paddle through. I understand they were looking out for the entire group of people but i have been 4 other times and was looking forward to big waves after rain all day yesterday. I would recommend B.O.B. and i would go with them again."

"Was very nervous being a first timer, but as soon as we stepped into the building I instantly felt better. The team is so warm and friendly, and having Onyx there helped too!! Safety protocols were solid and our group had SO MUCH FUN!! While I’m not sure higher intensity rapids are for me, I would absolutely run with Bob’s team again!! Scott and Hopper were fantastic! If you’re on the fence, JUST DO IT!"

Scotty was an informative and fun guide, as was our kayaker, Hopper! It was a majority of the paddlers first time and they’re hooked. We can’t wait to go again. "Great staff! Bob returns calls timely, very friendly. Affordable Fun, fast paced vacation experience. Everyone had a great time, planning on doing this again next year! Picture package is great, broken down to your guide/ boat group. Hopper was a great storytelling guide, added his own humor to photo ops! Many didn't stay for the food afterwards, which was a nice touch, salad, baked ziti and bbq chicken helped recharge your body after a workout paddling! Adding a video option to the picture package would be great capture as well, but you can wear your own go pro."
