About Us
The Camel Club, located at 4015 Spring Forest Road in Raleigh, North Carolina, has been a part of the Raleigh NC 12-Step Community since 1985. This institution offers a safe space for individuals seeking recovery from alcoholism and drug abuse. Members of the Camel Club share their experience, strength, and hope at NA, CA, and AA meetings in Raleigh NC. The club will be hosting a weekly workshop called "Overcoming Our Spiritual Malady" starting on April 3rd. Join us for our 39th anniversary celebration on April 6th, featuring an Old Timers panel, speaker meeting, live music, games, and a food truck. The Camel Club provides a supportive environment for those seeking to overcome addiction, offering fellowship, sociability, and various recovery events. "The Camel Club is a facility which provides meeting places for AA and NA meetings seven days a week. There is an excellent noon meeting Monday through Thursday and on Friday at 11 a.m. these are discussion meetings. Please check schedule for evening and nighttime meetings building has recently been redone and there is a very nice Library in a room off the big meeting room. Outside there are multiple picnic tables and ashtrays for smoking and Gathering to chat. There is always a good crowd there and at Christmas they will be in alcathon with 24-hour meetings the day of Christmas Eve, Christmas Eve itself and into the night until about 6 Christmas Day. It's a wonderful place to go if you are visiting relatives and just need to get away."
