"Me and my toddler love shopping here. But the workers are not helpful at all especially at the checkout. And baggers only work for “tips” so as a single struggling mom whose husband is deployed it’s tough. Bring your own reusable bags to avoid stress at the checkout because the workers will see you struggling but will walk away to avoid helping you."

"Decent place to shop. I prefer Walmart. Walmart is right outside of Fort Drum and offers a wide array of items and is generally cheaper than the Commissary."

"Last time I shopped I came home and meal prepped 2 weeks of foods only to find out after cooking all the food something tasted off. After checking the ingredients I found that some of the main ingredients had been expired- some of the meats had even been expired up to 3 weeks ago! I’m a busy mom of 2 and the last thing I need is to have to read every expiration date. Over $200 in homemade meals have to be thrown out now. I tried calling and nobody answered."

Standing in line to check out for more than 5 minutes is uncommon. - Better prices on most products like energy drinks, meats, and cereal. They even beat other places on post for the same product in price. Cons: - Hours may be inconvenient to anyone who works past 7pm. - Purified water can be difficult to get and you may end up having to buy bottles instead. - Good for general items. Unique and specialty ingredients for things like baking may have to be sourced elsewhere."
