"Had a babyshower on Saturday February 19; followed all rules to get my deposit back; Jennifer the person in charge of book events called me 2 days before my event letting me know she would be outta town & some else would be letting me in & she would let me know who; instead of calling me back like she said We went to pay the remaining balance and had to find out who & what time we would be let in; day of the shower we were let in her coworkers were very helpful and respectful; we broke down the event took out trash and set tables and chairs back up & were cleared by 2 employees who worked in the lodge that everything looked good.3 days after my event i didn’t receive no calls or my $300 deposit back in my account so i called up to the building to speak to Jennifer and was told she was busy and would call me back ; hours passed no called so i called again and finally was able to talk to her. Respectfully I said “Hello Ms.Jennifer;l was calling because i haven’t received my deposit and need to know if i need to come back up with my card so you can issue my deposit?” Yelling in my ear & very disrespectful she said “do you really think you are getting your deposit back?” I said still respectfully “yes ma’am I do; i did what i was asked and was cleared by your coworkers that everything looked good. She goes on still being disrespectful and says i left trash everywhere and tables and chairs up ; which i then stated was bs because we took pictures before we left and asked her coworker who was there did we need to bring down more chairs and he said everything looked good. At the time I was 31 weeks pregnant and can fill my blood boiling because i feel like I’ve been scammed and lied on about $300 ; she then keeps cutting me off saying she can’t talk and that i can’t come up there and see the pictures which was no need being that i had my own; and no where in the contact states that we even needed to set tables and chairs back up; she just asked me to and I would be able to get my deposit back. At that moment i felt beyond disrespected and uncomfortable to even return to the lodge and now I’m going through a very long and tiring process with my bank to get my deposit back. Besides Jennifer and her very disrespectful and nasty attitude; the rest of the lodge fam was nothing but respectful and warming during our encounters. But i do not recommend booking for any events; after reaching out to few people I’ve been aware that I’m not the 1st person she has tried to pull this on. Let not forget we had to sweep and mop the floor before my event started because the floor were very nasty. Pictures are below for reference. On how we left the building; contract and us mopping"

"I thought I'd already written a review but I guess I was remiss in doing so. I visited while on a cross country road trip in Sept. of '19. I stayed overnight which they gave me great accommodations for if my memory serves me well, $10. They have a clean bathroom available separate from the lounge for overnight guests. The covered patio was a nice amenity, as well. The patrons were very friendly to this traveler from the wilds of OR. Thanks for giving me another fond memory of an epic solo road trip."

"Great place, very nice people, me, my wife and son have been staying here in our RV for about a month in a half now, Bill has been great, and everyone has been very nice , but sense he has been away for a week or so now, he left the lady bartender in charge. On Memorial Day she was very rude, unprofessional, and very disrespectful to us, and told us we need to leave here in front of a party worth of people because I was dumping water in the drain like I was told to do by Bill. A lot of the visitors staying here have said to us she has been the same rude way to them. We are now moving our RV this coming week. This place would be 5 stars hands down all the way if not for this very disrespectful lady."
