Designed by Tom Jackson, Aberdeen Country Club features three beautiful courses nestled along the Waccamaw riverfront preserve. Formerly known as Buck Creek, Aberdeen Country Club has received numerous accolades, including being named "America's Best New Course" by Golf Digest in 1990. The club has also been recognized for its exceptional value and service, earning 4 STARS in Golf Digest's "Places to Play 2006" list.
The Meadows and Highlands nines offer a variety of challenges for golfers of all skill levels. "Have played here now several times. They have worked hard on improving conditions like opening up fairways planting flowers. Great for beginners but still challenging for experienced players. Staff very friendly and welcoming."

"Was a bit disappointed. Played there 10 years ago...not the same place as before . No grass on many tee blocks and the greens were in aweful shape on the back 9. Fairways and bunkers were in great shape, beautiful track and the bar staff were fantastic. Greens look like they were lost and have grown back in ..very inconsistent and a few were unputtable. Once they get the greens back it will be a must play."
"Challenging course with several nice hole layouts. Several of the greens were not in great shape and were slow but overall the course was in good shape. Even saw this little turtle trying to cross the fairway without getting hit by our golf balls. Comparing the price of others I play in the area hard not to give it 5 stars."
"Very nice golf course with excellent customer service. Course was in great shape and we had a 4 hour round. Lots of water which was a little challenging. Shout out for the kids golf free program. I took my 4 year old granddaughter golfing for the 1st time and all she did was putt a little bit and keep me company. Glad I didn't have to pay for her."
