"I prefer the Amazon days. It was fun. It’s easy to get addicted to the treasure hunting with one low maximum price. There are some great discounts that I haven’t been able to resist! Friendly staff. I liked & appreciated them. There are extra fees if you don’t pay with cash & sometimes the woman pulls out a calculator to add additional cost for taxes while other days there’s no tax extra. It’s a different experience from the straight 1 max price yard sale vibe it used to be. ***It’s important to check everything before purchasing- I have 5 products that I got home to find out they’re not functional or broken. If it’s an “only $10” day that’s $50 plus tax, plus fees if not cash & NO RETURNS. I have item parts too big for the garbage in my dining room bc things couldn’t be assembled due to missing parts. Earlier they had “fill a cart” for $50 & we could pile it up! (See pics of cart load allowed for $50) It was like I was super happy & productive & they got $50 for stuff no one else wanted. Last month, they had “fill a cart” for $85! Ok, inflation. I was in the store for hours going through everything looking for things I could use at home like a lot of zip lock bags that were opened & scattered in a large box- I didn’t care, I went through to try to find some decent single bags. I went around to the bins and selected specific items I might some day need to place in the $85 cart. After my cart started to come up over the rim the woman came up to me & said “he’s going to charge you double price so you know????” I had to put stuff back to only go to the rim of the cart this time even though paying $35 MORE already than last time. I FELT like the biggest scum bag like I was thought to be a shoplifter or something. I’d put hours into that shopping trip. Afterwards I got home & realized they changed the price & conditions for their “fill a cart” & humiliated me. I gave them their money & never went back again. Hours change, prices change, of course some stuff is broken- but I was happy until that day. No signs indicating changes. I watched another day they had the sale & other patrons came out with carts way overflowing… idk if they paid double but I’ve never felt so ambushed for pleasantly & quietly spending my hard earned money before as a consumer. I was going to go today, had the cash, gas in car, emptied car to fit treasures I might find at the Amazon restock! I was excited again. Canceled. Fooled me a few times & I kept going back… Shop with no guarantees there if you do. Very sad. I don’t think I ever offended anyone & was always grateful, polite… not sure what to expect day to day. Amazon mystery boxes were exciting one week- I bought 3-6 of them! When I got them home they were just filled with the keychains, phone cases, old party paper plates & junk that had been left over for weeks in those bins that I’d seen prior weeks. I suspected they filled their own Amazon mystery boxes with just their left overs. Once again, I was a fool. What was I thinking buying closed small boxes there for like $35-40 each? Just be a business, transparent & reliable so we don’t waste our time, gas & spirits. Pick business hours & be open. Do the raffles at the original time they’re advertised to be drawn instead of waiting additional weeks to get more money. Customers have to be able to trust a business."
"What a bargain baby! I can't say enough times in enough reviews and places how amazing this place is! We've gotten such great deals every single time!"
"Wouldn’t be bad if it was more organized or they had actual help the one girl that’s there is awesome! But she’s always Busy being the only one there. There is no set percentage off anything they randomly make up prices as they go so you could ask him about the same thing within 10 minutes apart and you’ll get two different prices and a few times they’ve set a price and I’ve showed them online where it’s actually cheaper at the original store. More often than not you’re wasting your money on larger items although it is fun to pick around at the “junk stuff“ it would be a great deal if you were getting items returned that were actually worthwhile. God forbid you forget something on the counter and it will be gone and they’ll tell you they don’t know what to do even though you’ve already paid for it. Like raffle tickets. Again organization is key they have no idea what it is that they’re selling because they don’t take the time to actually monitor their products or prices"
"Such great deals. I've gotten some nice things for way less than I would have paid at Amazon or the other stores! So glad to have them in the community!"
