"So I didn't hike here, but went paddleboarding. Easy to get to the little beach area and the water was nice and calm. Wouldn't be good for swimming though since the water is murky and the lake floor is slimy. No one was really there at 8am on a Sunday except for a few folks fishing. There are some benches around with a nice view of the lake."
"Very peaceful , for once I found d somewhere quiet with zero human stupidity and nothing but nature. Stop by and take a few deep breathes of nature."
"Great spot to fish for kids, plenty of blue gill, some crappie and the occasional bass."
"Nice area to launch paddle board or kayak. No motorized boats allowed in this area. The water was VERY warm when I was there July 24, 2022."
"Used to be great spot for fishing. Now it’s over crowded and you fish but people will jump in lake right beside you. Never catch me swimming in a warm water lake. I’ll stick to swimming pools or oceans."
