"A beautiful and easy 2-mile hike."
"About a 1.5 mile loop--rather long considering the location. Not the most well-maintained trail. Challenging for some (apparently) to find the trailhead from Old Chapel Hill Road Park: walk between the basketball court and turf soccer field down the path (paved then dirt) until you see a small sign on the right heading into the woods--approx. 100 yards. The trail is swampy -- don't attempt unless you have tall boots or its been a dry for a few days. Be cautious of thorn bushes flanking the trail and wear lots of mosquito repellant. Otherwise its a perfectly pleasant walk. Mostly flat. Never busy."
"Finding the access point to the trail will be a nightmare for new-comers to this park, as the signage is absolutely abysmal. For those who managr to locate it, they will be treated to beautiful scenery but a very diffucult walk as the trail is nearly continuously flanked by thorn-bushes. For visitors with small children, the park itself has a nice play-ground. It is also a good place for a pick-up basketball or soccer game. Those looking to go on a nature walk should pass on this location. I recommend Sandy Creek Park trail instead. For those who want to ignore my warnings, wear bug-spray; otherwise, the mosquitoes will eat you alive."
"If you're looking for somewhere to hike this is not it. It's a super short paved trail that maybe took 5 minutes to complete. If you want a short walk to a great playground though it's perfect."
"It was great to discover a short and simple woodsy trail we never even knew was here. We had a leisurely hour-long afternoon hike."
