"I joined Skyla Credit Union right before the merged with Charlotte Credit Union a little over a year ago and have been extremely happy with them. They pay good interest rates on their Savings accounts and any time I needed assistance their personnel were very prompt and courteous. I would recommend Skyla Credit union to anyone who might be having problems connecting with their present bank."
"Worst bank I have ever used. Customer service is the worst. They can’t help you. They place restrictions on your card and don’t tell you until you’re trying to make a transaction. I was stranded with a 2 yr old at 12:30 am trying to rent a car and they had my card blocked for rental cars. Customer service couldn’t see the restrictions and was absolutely no help. Then the manager calls me back and was rude when she explained the issue."
"I love banking with Skyla Credit Union. The Branch is beautiful. The staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The parking lot is too small is my only complaint. Maybe they would consider additional parking soon."
"This credit union was way better before they merged! Since the merger you can not get anyone on the phone on a timely manner. No matter what time of day you call, they give a larger then usual hold time because of call volume. Call volume can not possibly be high the entire 8 hours of operation. If it is that's a bad sign as it means 1 of 2 things, 1) they are under staffed 2) they are fully staffed but the staff is not competent as they are taking too long to service each customer. Either way it is wildly frustrating to be on hold for over 20 minutes everytime you have to call no matter the time you call. Please do better. Seriously thinking of closing my account, my wife's account and both my kids accounts and going to a institution that can actually kelp me when it is required."
"By far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Once Skyla took over this bank from Premier nothing has been the same. You can’t get in touch with any one to handle your issues and if you go into to the branch you have to wait hours just to see someone. My family will be closing our accounts and going to a bank that can handle request in a timely manner. There is no reason it should take months to close a loan then Skyla turns around and says that loan has expired you must do another one. Choose your financial institutions wisely and stay away from this one."
