"What an asset this park is to our growing area! Hoping that they plant native trees to the buffer between the houses and the trail. Some areas are too thin and looks like a parade of homes except that we're looking at people's backyards."
"An absolutely wonderful trail for those who walk, bike, or ride horses. The 7 miles from Apex to Durham is packed dirt. The rest is tarmac. Regardless, the surroundings trees, bridges, and occasional wildlife makes it an excellent outing. Just bring your own water, as fountains are turned off during the winter, and there are some rest area trailheads have toilet facilities but no fountains."
"We absolutely love this trail. It is beautiful and wide so when bikers are going by you aren’t ran off the road. There are tons of beautiful photo op spots and the crosswalk over Olive Chapel has a blinding pedestrian sign. This trail goes for 20+ miles so you can go as long or short as you’d like!"
"Love the trail, 22 miles of fun, I catch it about a mile from the end and head backwards towards the start.I start out with the dirt and about 7 miles in it turns too asphalt. Sad to say, with all of the construction, especially along the trail, it is getting more and more crowded. I have given up on weekends, unless I am on the trail before the sun come up, otherwise it is just to crowded, especially as you get into the first 7-8 miles"
"Awesome covered trail! Just gotta watch out for the bicycle riders, "ON YOUR LEFT!""
