Reviews
"Benches next to water are nice. Plenty of parking. Fishing pier. Really nice and quiet unless there is a party going on at the shed."
"Well marked paths to circle back to parking through the woods. Would be even better if trail circled the lake. Docks were closed"
"Love this park! Options to "rent" (for free) a kayak, peddle boat, or jon boat. Trails around the lake and through the woods, picnic tables, benches, playgrounds, shelters, and grills round this park out. Love to kayak with my wife, take pics of the birds, and make new friends each time we go!"
"Very nice park. Grounds and restrooms are usually clean and kept up well. Playgrounds are nice and clean, equipment is nice and newish. Trails are well kept and clearly marked. Water is clear but grassy at the two back piers. Shelters were nice and spacious, though some of the unsheltered picnic tables and areas could use some work. Overall, we love this park!"
"Great park to go for a long hike. The trails are well marked (for a very wooded trail) with bridges over wet areas. Note you CAN NOT walk around the entire lake! Signs stop you. Call the website number before going, as it is closed sometimes; weekdays and winter. Why? No one knows. Dogs are allowed, but not in pavilions. Watch slow bumps going in and out, they need to be painted."
