The hospitality that the owners show is warming and they go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. Nothing beats sitting on the porch swing on a warm night. Ask about Colin's eggs as well! You won't be disappointed."

"I stayed here with my husband for my birthday. We were there on a weeknight, and it just so happened that we had the house to ourselves. It was quiet, very very clean, there is so much character in the home (it's a 99 year old home) and it is evident that it has been well cared and restored over the years. We had wonderful service, but tons of privacy. The food was delicious. They have tea and coffee available 24 hours upstairs at the hall table. An electric tea kettle and a Keurig machine. Details were not ignored as there was creamer and sugar. I panicked when I realized I forgot to bring something to help with makeup removal but to my delight there were cotton balls and a makeup removing towelette in the bathroom. It is clear that lots of thought has been put into the details which is what hospitality is all about! We stayed in The Nest which was a wonderful and cozy room and included a claw foot tub in the bathroom. I enjoyed a bath, and they had even provided bath salts for my use. We will definitely be back!"
