Reviews of Himitsu
"A hidden gem in Queens!!! (Literally, because it's a speakeasy omakase tucked away in a Thai restaurant.) Attentive staff, cozy atmosphere, and amazing sushi! Highly recommend."
"Truly an excellent dining experience with a beautifully curated menu and all of the delicacies you’d expect. They make the steamed egg right in front of you and it tastes AMAZING!!! The speakeasy aspect makes it perfect for a quiet, elevated meal in a cozy setting/atmosphere. Non-pretentious, quality dining."
"One of my favorite sushi chefs Mark has landed in his new home. An omakase speakeasy in Flushing, hidden behind Siam Thai restaurant. An intimate counter with great music selection, sake chilling towers and great sushi of course."
"This was a fun, unique, Omakase experience. It is located inside Siam. You notify the Siam check in staff that you have a Himitsu reservation when you arrive. Aim to be on time, but you have 15 min of grace period. A 5:45 reservation starts at 6. Sake is recommended and the descriptions on the menu match the flavor profile. The limited edition sake menu is much more expensive. Highlights were: Large Scallop Chu toro Uni King salmon with truffle Toro tartar with caviar"
"What an amazing experience I just had past weekend, the nigiri were amazingly delivered by the head chef and his sous chef, so freaking good! Service was great as well. Will return!"
