Reviews of Ozakaya
"Combine Ozaka with Isakaya and you will get Ozakaya. Open the doors to umami flavors by Chef Takahiro Sano born and raised in Osaka. They are also launching a Valentine’s Day special menu for those who enjoy sweet romantic dinners with a twist. Their friendly staffs will explain to you their food and drinks menu and recommend a few items that suits your taste. Definitely try their Hoba Miso Yaki for that perfectly grilled A5 Wagyu drizzled with miso sauce over a hoba leaf for that romantic melt in your mouth experience. Pair it with a Passionate Kiss cocktail for that extra sweetness. Passionate Kiss 18 Nasu Miso 12 Hoba Miso Yaki 48 10 PCs Sushi 65 Kani Miso Set 32 Negitoro Roll 15 Tan Tan Ramen 19"
"We had the pork and chicken curry, both were great with a pleasant amount of spice. We also tried the eel over rice and sliced beef over rice. The rice in each dish was perfect. Assorted sashimi/fatty tuna was very fresh and buttery. Mentaiko pasta had a strong mayo flavor that most people enjoyed. Atmosphere is casual, chill, and comfortable. Definitely a great place to come back for."

"I had the best time dining out at Ozakaya. The staffs were welcoming and taking the time to patiently explain the specials as well as any the usuals. Even though we got seated at a small table in the corner it didn’t feel cramped at all. Their fish quality showed right off the first bite. I enjoyed every dish we had, apart from the dessert. The food was so good we even went back for lunch a couple days later. The ambience is pleasant. Not too dimmed that you can’t tell what you’re actually forking. We were so glad that the music wasn’t too loud either, so we could converse like a decent human. Last but not least, the toilet bowl. A true Japanese delight. If you’re ever in Brooklyn give Ozakaya try. You won’t be disappointed."
"Amazing Japanese restaurant serving authentic Japanese food. Everything we ate was so tasty and the sashimi was super fresh! The service was great, Jason was super welcoming and polite with us. The atmosphere and the food at Ozakaya brought us back to our honeymoon in Japan!! Must Try!! Will definitely come back :)"
