"My wife and I have a mortgage with TD Bank. We have auto drafted our payment each month. Have never missed a payment. The escrow amount changed $27.09 and instead of applying our auto drafted amount, they say they have not received payment and then charge us a $281 late fee. So, rather than call to let us know we missed the increase in the escrow fee, they hold our money so they can then charge us a late fee. Extremely poor culture at TD Bank!"
