Knights Inn Charlotte

"You get what you pay for. The room was decent as far as being clean except the tub looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. A few burns on the bed covers. They didn't bring extra towels. There were roaches in the room so we left our luggage in the car. Some shady characters walking around but they didn't bother us. Breakfast consisted of muffins, coffee and knock off orange juice. We ended up checking out early. I would not stay again."

"Using my cheap hotel rating scale: overall 5/10 Heating/cooling: 7/10. AC worked, but not as fast as I was hoping. Safety: 7/10. The hotel is not in the nicest area, but it's lit well enough and not super sketch. Cleanness: 5/10. The door handles to the office were greasy. Yuck. The room was in disrepair. I had to ask the staff for help opening the room door, the handle only worked when turned a certain way. Too much caulk in the bathroom indicates it's time for a remodel. Staff: 6/10. The staff seemed friendly, but obviously weren't taking it too seriously. E.g. greasy desk, door handles, missing paper towels in lobby bathroom. Outlet proximity: 2/10. No outlets anywhere near bed. The only outlets easily accessible were right by the door. Other notes: The lobby ATM is out of order"

"The older white male that works at front desk was rude and a liar. They have bed bugs my son got bitten over several times the cleanliness is not real good. They dont come clean your room on the days they suppose to. It was a horrible stay there watch out its a bed bug infestation im not the only one that had bed bugs In there room many roaches gets in your food the rm smelled horrible like smoke cigarette burns in blankets sheets pillows. Its not even worth the price."

"I have stayed here several nights and have been impressed with the friendly staff, the clean and spacious rooms, and the value received for my money. I know this hotel has had some poor reviews in the past, but there has been a change of management recently, and the new owners have made many improvements. They have regular pest control services now, and they are diligent about keeping trouble-makers out of this property. This is a much safer and pleasant environment now."

"This is such a dump. They have roaches in the rooms. There is no microwaves or small fridge. From the looks of this place one would think that it was a good place to stay. I will never stay here again. There is no pool and the other tenants don't  care how much noise they make. Stay across the street it looks much better than this dump does."
