"Really nice spot to stay. Most if not all are freshly done. I believe it's all new (that's what I was told). Lovely areas with trails, playground, boat launch, and tent and rv sites. Would stay again"
"We came traveling from a tiny farm town in VA. The park was PERFECT. We even brought our farm dog. I have a 1 year old, and 8 year old and another on the way. We felt very safe while my husband was away at work. Everyone was so friendly, it’s a short gravel trail walk to the water. We even opted to use the bath house. It was kept clean, a multi room facility. Each room very private with a shower, toilet, sink and baby changing area. Everyone respected the noise curfew and the golf carts were cautious of children. There were several other children that stayed near us. A short 10-15 min drive to Walmart, dollar tree and several restaurants."
"Beautiful park. Spent multiple nights in the RV campground. Very well maintained. Lots of trails. Good fishing, boat access. Playgrounds and primitive campsites. Excellent bathroom facilities. Camp store has bare basics but all staff very nice. RV spots are paved with a gravel pad. Lots of room to spread out. Metal fire rings and cooking grates. Dog and golf cart friendly."
"It was three dollars per adult to get in, but just 1 dollar for senior citizens 60 and over. Children 5 and under are free. When we were there there were some food trucks near the swings. There's a very nice large picnic shelter, several camper hookups, a boat put in, a canoe/kayak put in, and several trails to walk. There's lake access, but no swimming is allowed. There are several restrooms and water fountains in the park. Dogs are welcome. It's a beautiful park!"
"Although this is a controversial park, and there is a fee to enter, it is gorgeous! They did a great job with the playground and trails. There are so many trails with hills and valleys, its so well done! There are plenty of covered places to have a little group cooking out. The boat docks look nice! There is a dock for fishing! There are places for RV camping and tent camping. Restrooms everywhere! They allow dogs on a leash and have plenty of clean up stations."
