"I needed a local repair shop, so I brought my 1996 Toyota Avalon to M&J to be checked for some suspension and steering issues I was having. Mike gave me an appointment, and thoroughly checked out my car in a couple of hours of leaving it there. I'd explained to him that I was trying to decide whether to repair my car or get another newer one, and he said that getting an clear idea as to what was needed and the cost was the best route. He found out, as I had suspected, that I needed 2 rear struts, and a steering U-joint coupling. The total price that he gave me was fair, but more than I wanted to sink into my 19 y.o. car. He totally understood my dilemma, explained that it was my decision as to which way to go, and didn't even charge me for checking the car!
