"I have suffered with TMJ for many years resulting in occasional discomfort in my jaw and neck area. However, this summer, I experienced a TMJ “flare” for the first time. The pain was horrific, I had severe, around the clock ear and neck pain untouched with constant NSAIDS, ice packs, or warm compresses. I reached out to a massage therapist for help.
