"The condo we stayed in was great. We stayed over Christmas and our room was clean great start. Only thing is it's kind of annoying during off season to have to go across to the building where the front desk is to get to the pool. Then you have to go upstairs as well to get to them. They should have a lifeguard or something to watch other people's kids because some parents sent their teenagers with the younger ones and theu were doing dangerous moves in the pool when it's only 3ft. Using chairs to use as a diving board...then we decided to use the hot tubs and we love the jets but when we turned them on all we could smell is chlorine cloud and we started coughing because it was SO strong. Parking garage is tiny and hard to maneuver your vehicle to park. Front desk employees was nice I didn't catch his name but when I told him we were missing a TV power cord he sent someone right away. Our dining tables leg was snapped right off so when we went to put our Christmas dinner on it it tipped over but thankfully we caught it in time. Main toilet wouldn't flush unless you stuck your hand in the tank to force the flush because something was broken inside but maintenance came up and resolved the issue and they were also friendly. Over all it was only small issues and we had a nice stay."
"We had a great time, very nice place! I wish I could have stayed a little longer. Very clean and has lots of space it has everything you need right there. Also has a heated indoor pool. We all were so comfortable."
"This is definitely a kids place! With that being said… ❌There NEEDS to be a lifeguard, even during off season. I started to dread bringing my toddler down to the pool because the pools are filled with kids who kept cannon balling into the pool. Majority of the parents were sitting while their kids were running wild. It was very unsafe and I’m surprised there were no accidents, it was unbelievable busy for off season! ❌Breakfast buffets shouldn’t be charging $2.00 a refill for orange juice..it defeats the purpose of a buffet. Sharing a plate and being charged $3 is kind of crazy, too. The buffet was okay, but ended up going to Denny’s when there wasn’t a buffet because the prices were a bit high on a regular day to eat there. ❌Parking lot is DANGEROUSLY slippery when wet, I’m sure it is easy to keep clean but if you aren’t careful you could bust yours walking down! ⚠️A lot of the steps leading up to the water slides were scary. You could feel them moving under you and we actually alerted the employee that right under the area where the employee was standing it was either rusted or broken but something is supposed to be held together which clearly isn’t anymore. Whether it be rusted or what, it was reported to the employee in charge of the water slides that night. ✅Lovely hotel rooms, smoke free which was amazing because you can tell when people smoke ✅Shocked to see a full size stove/oven in the Oceanfront DBL Deluxe, and a nice size fridge. ✅Having 2 televisions in a hotel room is rare for me, so I actually enjoyed watching television while my toddler was watching their cartoons whilst resting! ✅PACKED with events for kids which was awesome to see, my toddler and my brother’s child (10) had an amazing time. Overall, it was a very nice resort and I will most likely be coming here again for my child/family & child friendly vacation!"
"This place is good if you get a private owned condo. The rooms owned by the hotel are nasty. The inside pool and hot tub are dirty and smell like strong chlorine. I don't think you can swim in it unless you want your skin to melt off. The kids did not use the outside pool because it was only opened for the weekend. I don't think they ever cleaned them. The main lobby has an arcade, a place to eat, and a workout area. The workout room is a joke. If you just want cardio, it will suffice no weights are available."
"When I checked in, the check-in time was fine. Until I found the room, I was staying in. It immediately smelled like marijuana. The smell never went away. I called the office, and they said they could do nothing as they did not have another room. I walked to the front desk and talked to the front desk. She was instantly annoyed by my complaint, in which I asked for the manager about changing to another room. He also told me there were no other rooms available. And tomorrow, there is still a high chance no more rooms will be available, but if so, they will notify me. He said the only thing they can do is have some clean it. His response confused me because there was no way someone could remove the stunk from that room the same night. I said okay but do it now please!!!. I live out of state, and other hotels were sold out. I returned to my room with my family. I walked in, and they attempted to mask the odor with a strong-smelling perfume. The perfume made everything 1000% worse. The smell was offensively strong and gave us all a headache. We had to open the doors to help the mix of the stunk of marijuana and perfume to leave. In the end, the smell never left. The next day, no one contacted me with another solution to this inconvenience. I even went to the front desk, and nothing. We decided to check out early because the smell was too much to support. When we arrived home, we had to wash everything multiple times as the horrible odor lingered on our clothing. The employees at the front desk, including the manager, had poor etiquette in this situation. Not a single apology from anyone or anything. I returned to this hotel because it was amazing the first time I came with my family. Now, I will never return. The lack of respect they have for the customers is horrible. The only thing saving that hotel is Kitchen & Bar staff in the morning."
