Reviews of Battleship Park
"Mosquito swarm! My group had finished a tour of the battleship and was planning on eating our lunch at the shelter house in the park but was immediately swarmed by mosquitoes. In less than a minute we were bitten +10 times by mosquitoes. They even chased us to our car! The whole stretch of grass leading up to the shelter was also too damp to do anything on."
"Easy to get to, nice staff, plenty of parking. Informative signs and mock set ups to help envision the situations the soldiers were in. Gift shop, and inside museum as well as a walkway around the exterior."
"Such an amazing experience!! Loved that we got to walk around the ship and get a glimpse of how the ship’s crew lived. Definitely recommend going here if you’re into history and learning more hands on."
"I can’t believe this was going to be scrapped? This is outstanding! Beautiful piece of military history. You can explore pretty much everything on the ship! and can go though the life of the navy! An old ship from WW2 and it’s an experience for the whole family!"
