"The room was really nice. The hallways need a little work but it looked like they were getting ready for some renovations. The staff was wonderful and very friendly overall it was great place to stay and a hell of a lot better than these condo hotels which have been horrible"
"I drove to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to attend a wedding on Saturday, November 11, 2023. I did have time to really inspect the room.This was the worst experience I ever had with any hotel in the past ever before. No hot water in the restroom. The heaters in the room work and I did not realize this until I woke up very cold at 3 am in the morning.Two phones in the room and neither one worked. Only one elevator working and it was extremely dirty. The furniture looked like it was purchased at a cheap Goodwill store. One of the knobs broke in the shower. The front entrance of the hotel is not locked at midnight. Therefore, It poses a major security risk. The coffee in the lobby was cold.I have pictures and videos to confirm this horrible condition This hotel is located in an upscale community. Therefore, I assumed that it was a very nice place. Wow, nothing could be further from the truth. This place needs to be condemned."
"I have stayed at this Hampton Inn many, many times in the past. I stayed there few a long weekend and t was anything but pleasant. As soon as I arrived to my room and walked barefoot for 10 minutes the bottom of my feet were completely black and the room just felt damp as well as the carpet looked like it had not been cleaned in forever, The next day when I went to shower the tub had water in it, from who or where I don't know but I had to put my hand in the tub to release the water. When I took my shower I looked up at the ceiling and there were "black curly hairs" stuck to the ceiling. I was completely disgusted at this point. I didn't say anything until I checked out as I knew the hotel was booked and they couldn't move me to another room. I told the clerk at check out and she said she would bring it to the manager attention and have them call me. They never did. I also received a survey from Hilton on how my stay was and I told them everything as well They asked if I'd like someone to contact me about this and I said yes. They never did."
"Hello newlywed here to give her complaint. First off by arriving at the property the outside was very very beautiful. When I arrived to the front desk the receptionist on 09/28/23 was very nice. As we went to our room we noticed we didn’t have use the key to open the door because the room door was already open which was odd considering it should have been ready for new guests. Neither than less we made due headed for dinner to celebrate our honeymoon and came back for bed. At 2am me and my husband were scared out of our sleep due to the AC vent falling and scarring us. I am an epileptic and high stress and extreme excitement could have caused me to have had a seizure on my night, I had to drink cold water and sit up to calm myself down. The next morning we went and showed the receptionist Ms Rebecca and she just stated “I would have to talk to a manager” and looked at me as if I was bothering her. I mean I am a disabled newlywed who could have been spending my night in the ER and she had no sincerity or compassion. I’m starting to wonder if signing up for Hilton Honors is worth is?!? But I’m glad I didn’t use the Hilton Honor credit card because I would have been PISSED!!!!"
"I will start by saying the staff here is very friendly. They’re honestly the only good part of this hotel. I’m a Hilton Honors member and at one point was a Diamond member. This is by far the worst Hampton Inn I’ve stayed at. I was here for 2 nights, and paid for a suite. Upon arrival, there was an extremely dusty industrial fan left in my room, the furniture was moved, my TV screen was broken and unwatchable, all light bulbs were removed from every lamp in the room and I was only given half a roll of toilet paper in my room. I will never stay at this location again."
