Disney's All-Star Music Resort 1801 West Buena Vista Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

"As seasoned Walt Disney World visitors who've experienced resorts (hotels) across all four price points, my take on the All-Star Resorts is that they're an unbeatable value for those looking to immerse themselves in the Disney magic without a hefty price tag. The access to parks is seamless, thanks to dependable transportation, and the whimsically tacky design of the facilities adds a playful touch to the stay. The rooms are clean, functional, and more than satisfactory for the budget-conscious traveler. They serve as a cozy retreat after days spent exploring the parks. However, it's important to note the bustling atmosphere, largely due to youth sporting events. These groups bring an energetic vibe, but can also lead to overcrowded public areas. Specifically, the food courts can become a challenge, with peak times making it seemingly impossible to grab a meal due to the throngs of young athletes. For those of us who cherish both the excitement and the tranquility of Walt Disney World vacations, the All-Star Resorts offer a vibrant, if occasionally noisy, basecamp. It's a fantastic option with a few caveats to consider, especially regarding dining during busy hours."

"I want to highly discourage people from booking this resort. I’ve stayed in cheaper motels in Florida and never have I been so disgusted by the amount of bugs. We complained at the front desk and they said they would send out management. The next day nobody came by so we checked again with housekeeping and they hadn’t heard anything about our issue. After the second time following up then someone came to spray our room. We had to leave the room because the spray had a strong scent that the guy said would make our eyes water. The bugs never went away, they were all over the bathroom. At one point I found them in my toothbrush container and all over our towels and a shirt I had left in the bathroom. We had our family staying in the room next to us and they also had bugs (not as many as us but still they said they killed about 30). We asked the guy who sprayed the room what they were and he said a mix of drain flies and weevils. We also complained again the night before checkout and all they did was say “sorry”. At no point did Disney offer to move us (because they were fully booked) or offer anything other than a half apology. I’m home now and still feel like there’s bugs crawling all over me. Seriously please save yourself this trouble, book somewhere else. I stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham last year for $50 a night and it was way cleaner than Disney. They truly think they can get away with anything."

"It was my first time going to Disney world and we stayed here and OMG it was amazing! Everyone was super nice and helpful and the service was over the top amazing! The Mickey waffles were honestly the best waffles I've ever had! The pools were awesome too especially with Donald Duck in the middle it was really cute! Every night they had something fun planned they had movie nights or dance parties with Disney themed! When we were there they had stitch theme and the daughter went crazy! We are planning on going back this year!"

"We loved our stay at the All-Star Music Resort. We have never been treated better in our lives. The rooms are lovely and the pools are beautiful and heated. Best of all is the staff. We can not say enough about the staff at this resort. From Molly in the restaurant, Paige in activities , the lovely gift shop staff, and the wonderful front-end workers. It's just amazing. We will be returning to this resort."

"We had read some negative reviews about the All Stars, specifically the noise, whether from other guests, school groups staying there, or service vehicles and maintenance. We decided to go ahead and book based on positives we had seen, and we decided to just roll with whatever, cause hey, we're at Disney World! Happy to say we had a fantastic experience staying at All Star Music! Noise was never really an issue, maybe we picked the right week, and the place did seem to be booked up, so a lot of people around. There was some construction in the lot across from our area, so we did hear some of that starting around 7 am, but it was tolerable. The food at the Intermission was excellent, great variety, healthy options too, and the service was always Disney-quality, the staff really do go out of their way to help make your day magical. Our room was good for the four of us (we were travelling with our two young adult-age kids). Our room had a pull-down bed that easily turned into a table. 2 chairs in the room. It did mean that if we were relaxing or eating, two had to sit on the bed. The pools are great, the atmosphere is fun and relaxing, and we would definitely stay here again in the future."
