"AWFUL!!! They keep stealing my money every month... they promised me a recast of my loan and I've been waiting for it for 6 MONTHS!!! I paid all the fees, signed all of their ridiculous paperwork, emailed 28 times, called 18 times... and NOTHING. I'm filing a lawsuit."

"It’s LESS than 1 star. The company will NOT process paper checks in a timely fashion. They’ve “lost” 3-4 of my checks this year. My bank has begun an investigation into this as they are the ONLY company that routinely “loses” checks. In speaking with NewRez customer service, I was basically told that the company knowingly holds paper checks in order to force people to use the “free electronic” options. Bill pay is free for me and reliable with EVERY SINGLE OTHER company. Electronic payments are not a requirement of my loan. When will the govt step in?"

"NewRez has terrible customer service. I am constantly handed off to a different person when 1st rep is too lazy to actually try to help me. There are some good ones but the bad ones definitely ruin it for those who actually provide good customer service. How can I file a complaint about a specific rep since my conversation was recorded?"

"Mr. Cooper sold my mortgage to Newrez and they are by far the worst mortgage company I've ever had to deal with. Customer service is non-existent."

"These people are the most incompetent people I have ever had the displeasure of working with. If interest rates were not so high I would run to refinance with another company. You can call NewRez three different times on the same day and get five different answers to your questions. Avoid them at all costs. They should not even be in business."
