"How are they able to secure funds with my title? NC law makers made it unlawful for title loans in 2001. I'm highly upset with Credit Karma for suggesting this and not letting me know its a pre approved SECURE title loan. I currently have an unsecured loan so why would I accept a title loan??!! Both companies may need to update their practices"

"Applied through CREDIT KARMA for an unsecured loan. Applied, submitted and was approved. Then I attempt to go through the steps to verify my info. States it can't verify. Call my local branch and was told that it was for a secured loan.. When the approval was for unsecured. My verification asked me to verify with paystubs not my car title. Will be avoiding this company in the future, they can't even stick to the terms I was approved for. Just seems shady to me. How do you apply for an unsecured loan get approved and then be told over the phone that its for a secured. Just consolidating my CCs for 1 payment instead of 3. NO THANKS.. will never apply for anything with this company again."
