"If your looking for a place to stay that appearance isn't important then this is great place. I have been here a month so far and it has been very quiet! The family that owns the place have been very nice and helpful. I'll be staying here through my stay in Dillon."

"My boyfriend left me and I was stranded. I was at this hotel for 2weeks already. I only had half of rent paid it. At 8am he pounded on door then opened with key sending in dudes with dreads throwing out my stuff. Check out time was 11AM. He said I would go to jail if I didn't get of his property. He was 400lb sweaty man towering over me spitting on me talking really fast and cussing. 115* high humidity, my dog and I left my belongings behind seeing them though it in the dumpster. I was waiting for money wire and it was only 3 days before I got Ss. Would not budge. TV didn't work and I took the filter in shower to clean it and then some air conditioning was circulating. The rent was based on 2 people and 3 dogs. 5$ per dog he would not reduce after boyfriend left with his rottweilers."

"(review from late sixties) I was a local back in the sixties when this was known as the 'Dixie Dream'. Mr. Burleson was the owner and was friends with my dad. He let us go out there and use his pool anytime we wanted. Fond memories of this place. It was first class and saw lots of business as this was pre I-95 and 301 was the only thing going. Sad to see what, based on the other reviews have to say, has become of it."

"The lady had a bad attitude. She was very rude and demanding. Remote didn’t work correctly."

"Very disrespectful,always have very rude attitudes,try to over charge people they may know, threat to call the police if you seem to get an attitude back or will not allow you to stay or will try to kick you out and no refund even if you've only been checked in a hr. Get very very rude and disrespectful if you ask any questions about things they may or may not have like towels the lady was very rude to my son when he asked for a few extra towels,he came back crying, so my husband went up there to see what the problem is that was very kind and respectful her and her husband started talking in their language and slammed the window shut.then threatened to call the law if we kept bothering them. My sister stopped by to check on us because this was right after the hurricane they asked her why she was there what room she was going to,was she staying,told her it was to late she needed to leave because we checked out earlier,when we hadn't then threatened to call the law again claimed she was loitering.I could go on and on these people are a discrete to human decency and manners and rooms were nasty microwave or refrigerator did not work and they told us oh well it's to late were not getting you another one we will check tomorrow was very very rude then to. I recommend they be closed down for hazardous environment and threatening people if you BOTHER THEM as they say. God bless them. I have never been treated like this in my life!!"
