"SECOND UPDATE After a month of no calls and no reponses to emails, trip to hotel, we finally paid the citation even though we paid the hotel directly for parking. Hopefully others will decide not to frequent this hotel and have the experience we did. Worst customer service we have ever experienced. Update. My daughter was in sc for business and drove to the hotel. The front desk got an assistant manager who promised a call today. It’s 6pm on Thursday and no call. I had even emailed Antwan again as he requested in the review but still no response, we couldn’t make this up . Should not be this difficult to get anyone to respond . Never had this experience in any other hotel ( or any vendor) for that matter. Had 8 rooms for our daughter’s wedding. There was an issue with a number in our license plate when checking in. We received a citation from the city . We paid the hotel for parking but we left a number off at checkin. The city was very responsive but told us talk to the hotel they can help you. They even copied managers at hotel on their email. It’s been almost 3 weeks of emails and calls to various managers and even corporate. We can’t get anyone to respond . We travel often for business and personal with large groups and have never seen this lack of customer service. The citation isn’t a large sum of money is more frustrating how they treat their guests. I won’t even go into everything that was missing in most of the rooms (tissues, toilet paper, cups for coffee ( only had one coffee pod in room) . Was embarrassed because we told our family hotel was new. One room even had leftover food in refrigerator."
"I stayed here for a wedding I was attending. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and well appointed. Rooftop lounge is a relaxing spot to chill and rewind. Breakfast was outstanding, especially the grits made by Teresa. That girl can cook!! I highly recommend this hotel."
"Every single person I came in contact with it at this hotel was beyond amazing. From the front desk to the porters to the room attendants with the exception being the bartender. The bartender was arrogant, and did not talk or engage us at all, instead spent his time on his telephone. It's such a sad situation when every other member of this staff was so welcoming, so kind, so pleasant and then you have this bartender that almost ruined it all. Not to mention he added gratuity to our three drinks for basically ignoring us acting as if we were a bother."
"The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. The front desk staff is not the greatest, when we first checked in two employees told us there was a buffet breakfast, when we got up, we were told we had to order and pay for the food. Then the front desk charged 3 of our cards, creating a total of $1000 being held on our accounts. When I approached the front desk, I received nothing but attitude about the entire situation. When the manager finally showed up 2 hours late, she treated us like garbage and did not even give us a chance to talk. Basically three papers in our face and told us that we were wrong and needed to leave. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone."
"Beautiful new hotel but management needs to tighten up. Towels in the bathroom but no washcloths anywhere. The 3 dispensers in the shower were shampoo, conditioner and conditioner. No freaking soap. I’m in the shower now, am I supposed to walk to the front desk in my towel to get soap? Not a bottle of water anywhere. The fridge actually had old leftovers in it from the previous guest. When a room is clearly run through by the cleaning staff without taking the time to make sure the basics are right, did they even wash the sheets? The owner or management here needs to take a hard look at what’s happening on the ground. Beautiful hotel but 2 star experience."
