"Half mile walk from the road to the falls. Nice beach area, with large boulders beyond. Good for Dogs."
"Getting to this falls is difficult going down a dirt road then what we refer to as a ‘pig trail’ which is a one lane not well maintained road. The pig trail kept going past the ‘entrance’ trail to the waterfall so we had to backtrack to the first ‘parking area’. The trail wasn’t too bad to the falls, but it ends at the top part of the falls so you have to go back on the trail to get a good look and entry point to see the falls. The falls also has a BIG tree on it so it isn’t very pretty right now. There is no good view that is easy to get to walking."
"DIRECTIONS TO FALLS (SCREEN SHOT THIS BECAUSE YOU WON'T HAVE CELL SERVICE): - Trust Google maps on this. It'll take you maybe 5 miles or so on a dirt rocky road. (It felt like one of the "Wrong Turn" movies. Google maps has taken me to the wrong place far up the mountains in Georgia and that was the feeling I was getting a couples miles on the gravel seeing no cars) - Slightly before you get to the end of the road there'll be a slightly greater than 90 degree turn to the right where there is about 1 car width of room to drive down. (The path has been traveled by cars to where the wheels travel on dirt and gravel and in-between it's a little raised a so it might catch the under carriage of your car. My camry didn't have much problems though). If you don't want to drive down there that's fine it's maybe an extra quarter to half a mile walk from that turn to the next landmark. - The important landmark to keep an eye on is the two rocks, about 3 and a half to 4 feet big, in a small clearing big enough for a few cars to park on the side. (First two photos) - Take that path to the right and walk down maybe a quarter mile. - You'll be able to see and hear the water slightly through the trees on your left at some point. - Take the small path to the left down hill to get to the stream (or just go down at any point, path or no path). - The Blue Hole, where the deep water is, is directly down stream. When you reach the water it shouldn't be far at all. - You'll have to cross the stream anywhere you're comfortable and just make your way down. This is defintiley hidden, not well marked, not easily accessible for anyone not comfortable with their physical capabilities to cross a stream or descend/ascend a path without slipping. I had forgotten what other reviewers said about where to go and eneded up hiking upstream for maybe 20 to 30 min before I decided to go back and try down stream haha. Feel free to explore the stream like I did haha."
"Blue Hole Falls is a nice little getaway with an easy hike to the top of the falls. Once you have parked and go down the trail and arrive on the top, you are looking at the small falls to your right which is cedar creek falls. To your left you see the top of Blue Hole Falls. Once you cross the creek there is a small trail you can follow to the bottom of the falls. It is not an easy hike as there are slick rocks and steep drops. But if you decide to go all the way to the bottom, it is an awesome view. You can see the deeper pool at the bottom for swimming and there is even a rope swing if you dare. This is not a hike you take if you dont want to get wet. I really enjoyed the hike and the view and would recommend it as a good to see location. You may not want to take smaller children though, or elderly that are not as mobile."
"I took the wrong trail and end up on top of Blue hole falls, but I was able to see cedar creek falls instead, really cool waterfalls with a descent flow, I follow the blue trail until the end and let me to Cedar creek! I been to blue holes in the pass last year around this same time, I was a lil mad I took the wrong turn they need more signs or markings in the trails. They call me Superman."
