"I had this campground on my list for years - stayed here in our small travel trailer for a few nights recently. For us, sites are very close together without much privacy in between. Our view was of our neighbors’ firepit & sewer dump & the lake - good price for FHU, but tight. Sites on interior of the loop not very level - better for tents or vans. Nice ranger & volunteer in the little store."
"Great place to bring the family to camp, beautiful view of the lake. I would come here every month if I could."
"First tome camping here. Lots of rules which aren't really a huge problem. It's just that you have to pitch tent in marked spots (that flood when it rains). You have to park cars in parking lot which makes it a hassle to protect food against wildlife. Bathrooms were in good shape. Cabin camping is the way to go here. You can park by your cabin and the cabin that one in our party rented can sleep 6 with heat/ac. Probably won't tent camp here again unless they change the flooding sites."
"Update: Been back to our peaceful getaway (less than 20 minutes from our house - lol) 2 more times and love it just as much. Our first cabin had a freezer in the mini fridge. Our next 2 did not have a freezer - just an FYI so you don't show up with frozen stuff like I did. Came with my 4 and 6 year olds at the end of august. Hot, of course, but lovely. We absolutely adored the cabin. There are 2 bunk beds and a full (maybe queen?) bed all equipped with 3 inch pads. Heat and AC. Mini fridge. Microwave. For the awesome price I honestly didn’t anticipate much, other than a tiny, bare cabin. But I was very pleased with the cabin and it’s amenities, the staff, the fishing, the mini golf, playgrounds, the setting, and the maintenance upkeep! Such a treasure; I seriously considered leaving a bad review so y’all don’t take it over! Oh - no wifi In the cabin area but there is wifi near the camp store and it seems throughout the main camping area. Camp store hours can be sparse during the week so be sure to check them out when you arrive. I’m sure they probably change throughout the year. Have fun. Hope you love it as much as we did! We already made reservations for the end of next month:)"
"This campground is beautiful! Nice wide roads and campsites are not right on top of each other. The park staff is friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and conveniently located. We camped in our tent for 3 nights and lucked out with beautiful weather. We would definitely come back!"
