"In the past, Mohawk Heating was the company I called to do my yearly service. The technicians did a great job and my boiler was well maintained, but I will not be a returning customer. On November 1st a technician replaced my thermostat. A Honeywell T4 Pro was also the replacement thermostat for my home. All I have is a boiler, so the work consisted of removing two screws, disconnecting two wires, then attaching a new faceplate and reconnecting the two wires. Almost forgot, he put two batteries back in. The technician then went to the basement to make sure the boiler was running okay, took a quick look and recommended some work on the system. The whole process took about 45 minutes. Imagine how shocked I was to be told the total was $545.21!!! I knew the service call was $125, so I figured on the high side it would be about $275. What an expensive lesson learned on my part. I do regret not following through with attempting to replace it myself. I had ordered a thermostat from Home Depot the night before and was going to pick it up the same day I received the call from Mohawk Heating that they could send a technician that day. I had been on the cancellation list. I can’t undo my very costly mistake, but will not do it again."

"I called around to a few places for a boiler cleaning and Mohawk Heating had the best prices. The guys came early, were very professional, and even walked me through a few steps I could do on my own. When they were done they cleaned off the dust and left things cleaner than when they arrived. I'd definitely recommend them"
