Reviews of Minnehaha Falls
"What a gem. This was my first visit to Minnehaha Falls and definitely won’t be the last. Easy hike to the falls. Great place to let all your thoughts just flow with the waterfall. Great place to take kids too."
"This waterfall is beautiful. We thought we were going the wrong way at first GPS took us down a gravel road. When we came to the sign for the waterfall there is a small parking area, or you can park on the side of the road. It is a short hike to the falls on a trail be careful of some roots. The fall are beautiful!"
"⚠️⚠️Beautiful waterfall! Especially in the Fall! We visited Oct 28, 2023. But getting there almost did us in! Maps directed us to take the Forest Service 2 Road off the main gravel road, Falls Branch. ⚠️DO NOT TAKE THE FOREST SERVICE ROAD!!⚠️ This narrow one-way "road" was just a ditch made only for 4-wheelers & trucks, not our Toyota Camry. We prayed for a place to turn around so we could get back to main gravel road, "Falls Branch," which the waterfall trailhead is on, about 50 yards PAST the Forest Service 2 Road. The dirt trail is narrow & precarious, and NOT handicapped or elder friendly. I advise against bringing pets. NO bathroom facilities nearby. NO picnic or recreational areas. Parking is VERY limited!"
"Parking is very limited, so go early in the day to get a spot. The falls are about half a mile from the parking area. It is very well kept & there is a narrow pathway guiding you to the falls. The falls were breathtaking. It's definitely worth the drive & the hike."
"Difficult drive up- about 2 miles of driving at 15- 20 mph into it, is gravel road and some parts were really narrow 2 way road. There is about a 4 car parking area and a 5-10 min climb/ moderate hike up to the falls. No public restroom or picnic areas. ❤️ But so worth it! It was beautiful! ❤️ I was lucky to be there by myself and just enjoy nature!"
