"Enjoyed a wonderful stay at Hotel Domestique! The hotel and property were beautiful, but the service is what really set this place apart. Alex at the front desk made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. He even came out later just to light the firepit for us while offering to make me a cup of tea for the cold night-- the personal touch was very impressive. In addition, the quality of the food was an unexpected bonus. We had appetizers at the bar, dinner at the restaurant, and the complimentary breakfast the next morning-- everything was delicious and exceeded expectations. Highly recommend staying here!"

"Such a lovely hotel. Alex, Olivia, and Maggie on the hotel side were so amazing and accommodating. Lindsey and CoCo on the restaurant side were so warm and welcoming. I was blown away by the room. "My husband and I were married here 18 years ago when it was LaBastide. We were disappointed to see the hotel allows pets in every room according to the website. Why do all hotels allow pets into every room now? I am severely allergic to pets and don't understand why a luxury hotel allows pets especially every single room. Why can't hotels designate certain rooms for no pets? Guess we won't be having a anniversary stay after all."

"My husband was planning on giving me a special hotel/spa getaway for my birthday in July. We decided to check out the venue on Saturday, March 18 around 7 in the evening. We drove around and saw the beautiful houses near the property including the winery. We couldn’t find the hotel main entrance so we decided to park and have dinner at Restaurant 17 since they had open slots according to their website on Open Table. To our surprise as we walked outside the restaurant area we were approached by a young white man who stated that the hotel and restaurant was closed for the weekend for a private event. This was surprising to us because this information was not listed on their website nor displayed outside anywhere on the premises. We knew this was not the truth about the restaurant because as stated above they had open tables. We returned to the car and checked availability at the hotel and found that they had open accommodations for Sunday, March 19 which would have been perfect for us. We are well seasoned travelers and have stayed in many 5 star accommodations. Therefore to be treated this way sent a clear message that we nor our money is welcomed at this establishment. We will definitely spread the word to others so they can avoid being treated in this manner."
