"The starter on my girlfriend’s car went kaput last week. She had only just the week before had to have the clutch repaired, so there wasn’t a lot of money left for a new starter and she absolutely needed it fixed asap. No place nearby had one in stock I had used Xcel probably about 25 years ago for an alternator, so I brought it there. They didn’t have one either, but he offered to rebuild it and had it done within a couple hours. (Much cheaper than a remanufactured one at any of the big auto parts chains would have cost me,btw) I got it home and installed before my gal got home from work.
