"I hit a curb and come for a wheel alignment, they forced me to replace all 4 tires otherwise they won’t do the wheel alignment, so I had to get rid of 4 tires with only 20k miles on them. And the guy suggested me to replace a dirty engine air filter, but I had installed a new one just a week ago, and he also suggested me to replace injectors which I think was ridiculous as the car is only 20k miles old, totally unreasonable. After the wheel alignment, the car makes grinding noise when steering and constantly vibrating when driving, they told me everything was fine but they are not! So I took it to my dealer later and found out that there’s a broken wheel bearing. This is a very bad experience, they didn’t fix my car and ripped me off. Will never visit ever again"
"I returned to Goodyear 1/11 due to a burning smell that Subaru told me was due to an oil spill around the filter to get it cleaned up. They replaced the oil filter saying it was defective, cleaned everything with a degreaser were pleasant and got right on it and at no charge as it should be."
"NEVER come to this Goodyear location. If you have the option to go to any other Goodyear location, do it because this location will screw you over. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at Goodyear. I have been a Goodyear customer for years. I made an online reservation for some snow tires for Monday, 12/4. When I got there, they told me they didn't have access to their online system but they took down all of my information and told me they would be able to install the tires on Friday, 12/8. On Friday, I took my car in at 8 a.m., and they told me it would take two hours (the online quote was 45 minutes). So I walked around downtown and got some lunch. When I came back about two and a half hours later, my car was sitting outside the shop with the same tires on. When I walked in to ask what happened, they said they didn't have my tires!! I questioned the guy at the front desk, asking why, if he knew he didn't have my tires when I walked in two hours ago, why make me wait all that time for no reason? He said that the online system did not send the tires and I would need to call the 800 service number. I then asked him if he knew I was coming in and why not have the tires ordered as if I were a walk-in customer and he said that the store does not order the tires. I asked him if the Goodyear store does not order their own tires for walk-in customers and he just kept repeating that he didn't see my reservation because they don't have access to their online system. When i asked again why he didn't call me when he knew he didn't have my tires he said that he " already told me he didn't have access to the online reservation and that he didn't appreciate the attitude and I just need to call the 800 number because obviously theres nothing he can do." basically dismissing me and my very obvious frustration with the situation. I did end up calling the 800 number for a refund because I never want to go back to this location. I felt so disrespected and never had such a difficult time trying to give a business my money! It might have been better if the front desk attendant was nice and apologetic about it but he was dry and condescending the whole time when I was just trying to get an answer to what went wrong and where the miscommunication happened. Instead, I was spoken to like I was an idiot and it was my fault for making an online reservation."
"I truly cannot believe how bad this shop is now. Used to go here for everything but never again. We had a bad experience in June with my husband's car. We made an appt (appt was made in person days before since making appts on the website doesn't actually work). Tried to call for a status update since no one called us and the phone went unanswered after numerous attempts. We finally went in since that's the only way to speak to anyone. LUIS told us that the work would be done by 6 and that he "promised" to call us the moment it was ready. No call by 545 so we go to the shop and arrive at 558p. Location is locked up and not a soul on site. My husband had longstanding plans that evening and their complete lack of communication ruined them. When we went in the next morning the car was done and NIKKO tried to tell us their phones hadn't been working properly with a level of apathy that really conveyed how much he did not care. Phones down for 3 days? Yeah, okay. Because of this I was really hesitant to bring my car in but I had road hazard warranty on the tire i damaged so I figured it would be fine at best and annoying at worst. I would happily have settled for annoying and not the absolute clusterf*** this was. I knew going in the job was going to require more work than just a tire (I dodged a cat and hit a curb). I spoke to Adriana and dropped my car off after hours on the 10/23. No one called or answered the phone on the 24th. Or 25th. Or 26th. I called the corporate number listed in other reviews here. They also couldn't get through to the shop. District manager ABLE called me. He told me the shop would be calling me by 2p and that he told them to take care of me on the price. He also tried to tell me that no one answering the phone is a training issue. No, Able, you have a compliance problem not a training problem. At this point they at least answer the phone when i call and Adriana updates me periodically. Unfortunately they are still waiting for a part. Not a weird obscure part. A strut. I am repeatedly told "hopefully" this date, that date. It is what it is and at least they're updating me. On 10/30 I realized they weren't going to have it back by the end of the month so i called and spoke to Adriana about adding an inspection to the ticket. No problem she says. 11/8 my car is finally done! It's a miracle! 16 days to replace a strut, rim, and tire. They discount the job a little more and I pay over the phone and pick up this morning, 11/9 at 630a. Everything seems fine except the TPMS light is still on after 20 min. And then i notice that they didn't do the inspection. I'm driving with an inspection that expired 9 days ago. I call again. They answer. They tell me the inspection machine is broken. I asked if it's been broken for 2½ weeks? They tell me the machine was brand new on Saturday and that it's not working. I have a feeling it's "broken" in the same way the phones were "broken" in June. It would have been really helpful had anyone bothered to tell me they couldn't/wouldn't do the inspection before me noticing on my own. They offered to call another Goodyear and i declined. I'd rather pay full price for 4 new tires than go to any Goodyear for anything ever again. TL;DR: Lots of excuses and inability to operate a telephone. AVOID AT ALL COSTS"
"I scheduled an oil change here for 8:30 am through their system as their site indicates they open at 8. Went there to find they don't open til 9 so I scheduled one for 10am on Sunday the 8th. Went to shop and no one was at counter for 5 minutes then staff member came back from across the street with his breakfast. I explained that I had a 10am appointment after indicating that their posted hours online don't match what's on the door on Sundays. The staff member said and I quote "Obviously the online reservation system isn't linked to our computers" in a dry condescending tone. I said what do you mean "Obviously? Your site hours are wrong and it's your own reservation system. " He then repeated his "Obviously " line and began to repeat and said i should have called instead. I said softly there's no reason to be rude and left, not wanting to hear the rest of it. GOODYEAR corporate-- what the heck is going on? It's *easy* to update your site to reflect actual hours. It's easy to link your online reservation system to the store's, but if it isn't, why have it at all? Decoration? Train your staff in the art of common sense. Update your site. Link your systems. Obviously. Take your business elsewhere. What a joke."
