"Understaffed, clean, fancy motel on mountain... 1st floor room had poor ceiling insulation such that upstairs neighbor walking was loud even with fan full speed. Check-in at the coffee shop with 1 barista was slow and bartender overwhelmed at 5 pm waited over 20 min for drink. $250 per night is a little high for that. Free parking, great views, nice restaurant."

"Staff, food, and views were amazing! Their pop up Christmas bar was adorable and the oak steakhouse was amazing! Gabriella at the front desk was super welcoming and helpful. Some neg reviews say no fridge but they will bring you one if you ask :)"

"What a unique and special property! My daughter invited me for a special occasion because I have been wanting to visit Skyline Lodge for quite some time. The views are breathtaking. The courtyard area is perfect to sit outside and wither start your day or wind down at the end of the day. There are special areas tucked away around this proper that all visitors should explore. The manager, Ian, was very welcoming when we met him and he was everywhere every day making sure things were running seamlessly around the property. AJ and Gabriella in reception were amazing! They answered our questions, helped us get situated (coming and going) and made us feel like VIP’s every time we saw them. We are already counting down the days until we can return. Thank you for an amazing trip!"

"If you read past the fake-ish five star reviews, you will see a theme. This place needs to figure itself out. Front desk is staffed by nice, but inexperienced and very young staff. It seems like this hotel has zero management. Where is the adult? Rooms are incredibly over-priced. The bathroom is tiny, the beds and pillows don't fit the price-point. But the worst part is the lack of house-keeping. I get that the highlands is a popular location, and you can charge 500+/night during the high-season, but just because you can do it, does not mean you should. Any place, regardless of popularity has to provide regular house-keeping service, which is something you can get at a holiday inn express. Whoever owns this location needs to immediately fire the sheepish and cowardly management, disclose up-front the lack of house-keeping services and drop prices. Alternatively this hotel could maintain its high price-point and shell out the money necessary to hire full-time house-keepers. The Old Edwards Inn is down the road, and yes it is more expensive but the rooms come with a private butler, and beautiful bathrooms. Judging by the parking lot, this location has the revenue to match its price point, but someone, somewhere is unwilling to spend the money to hire the right management. Disappointing. I will not come back (except for the restaurant - that was great!)"

"We stayed at the Skyline Lodge in early Spring for a conference. The room, facilities, and especially the staff, were all top notch. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The property is a very short drive to downtown where there are great shops and restaurants, and it's also close to some great hikes. Would definitely stay there again."
