"I have eating at fuel energy for years. I live in Lond Island but went to New Jersey to my brother's house. I picked up a friend on 86th street and 4th Avenue. I went to fuel to get something for the road. I had an energy muscle up my wife had an acai smoothie and my son had nutter butter smoothie. I don't know what happened but everyone was nauseous. My wife threw up 3 times my son threw up 3 times and my 5 year old has diarrhea. I don't know if it was a cleanliness issue or what but never had I had an issue at any of the fuel energy restaurants that I go to. I spent 45 and everyone caught some type of nausea. I am disappointed."

"Energy Fuel in Brooklyn is a healthy spot with tasty food. The place is lively, and the menu has good choices for different diets, like salads and wraps. They use fresh ingredients, so the food is delicious and good for you. The service is good and you can get your food quickly to go. It might be a bit pricier, but the quality and variety of the food make it worth it. Energy Fuel is a great place!"

"People in here are ridiculously rude for no reason. Food is kind of good but they get mad at me for simply asking for no cheese on my item because I’m allergic to dairy. I call their location to place an order and I’m talked to incredibly disrespectfully. I took a picture of the woman who has continually been disrespectful. Also they get my orders wrong all the time. I order something with chicken and they give me steak. I ordered the quesadilla with tomato sauce and they give me cheese and guacamole."

"I went in today for an order to go- ordered a bowl and added avocado. When I arrived home to eat my lunch, to my surprise my avocado slices were mostly black. This is the second time I had a poor experience at this location. A few months back, I went in about half an hour before their closing time and wanted to order food and was told they aren't serving food. The lady at the register was rude but I decided to overlook this, ordered an acai bowl (which was delicious) and then tried it out again today. I was again disappointed by staff and this time with the food as well. A black avocado is not "fresh". I won't be returning."

"I am always looking for healthy food and I am glad I found this place! I had the super protein plate which comes with Bison, chicken, tomatoes, peppers, onions and a spicy sauce made from tahini and hot sauce. It was delicious! Probably need to order an extra sauce. I did order one but used it for my potatoes! This is a low carb dish so i paired it with air fried sweet potato fries. They cook them with NO oil - i checked. They are yummy! I love me some sweet potatoes. A couple of them were a little burnt so i stayed away from those. After eating all the food, I felt full but relatively light and not stuffed or suffering from a carb coma - this is important to me. I also have a very sensitive tummy and i do not eat gluten or dairy or corn or eggs or soy and i was able to find plenty of food in this restaurant, it tasted really good and didn't upset my stomach at all. There is no restroom though which is a struggle for me lol! The girl at the counter was not super nice at the beginning but i think i was kind enough and she became more and more helpful as i talked to her more and as I nicely insisted on getting answers regarding ingredients in the different sauces. I personally did not think this place was overpriced at all. I got plenty of clean healthy food for ~ $20. I definitely recommend this restaurant especially if you are into healthy eating. Even if you are not, give it a try and you might just change your mind!!"
