"Nice and comfortable family business. Good decor and chill vibe. Staff affirmed that all the food was halal. They should clarify and understand the concern with hand slaughter though. Owner Sammi was kind and friendly. Bonus points for him letting me sample stuff and customize my order. Pitalk bread was unique. Wish it wasn't made of white flour though as its the most unhealthiest of all foods. Qofte, plescavica, kofte are the same meat in different shapes. I got the Qofte on his rec. Gulash was good and not overly salty as I feared. I do wish that there was more meat in there. Salad was nicely done! I just wish he had homemade spicy sauce on the side as I like my food spicier. Tres Leches was homemade. A little overly sweet with the caramel coating on it. Overall good experience. Looking fwd to try them again to have the borek there."

"This review is from when I went on March 14 when they were newly opened. They did not have a website or google listing but I had found out about them through a coworker who was raving about their burek. I live a few blocks away so I stopped by on the way home. I parked in the rear where I used to park when getting Goodfellas. The people are super friendly inside and I have to say, the burek is delicious. I ordered two pies, one meat and one spinach. Best eaten fresh. It’s still good the next day but you must heat it up in an oven or toaster oven. It may seem expensive at first but for the density of the food, well worth it. I will have to return to try the other items on their menu."
