"Glen Edith’s colors were much better in the sense of looking more upscale. However, Pearson’s was good in the fact that the coffee remains great tasting & that there are more food options. And despite the market sections taking away a true coffee house feel, it is able to accommodate more people (especially with upstairs seating) which I’m sure is nice for students & others."
"Quickly becoming a favorite. The space is perfect - cozy, but I’ve brought my baby in her car seat and it doesn’t feel too cramped. I also love that they have a full coffee menu as well as food. It works for any time of day. The food is great and the bread is obviously the star of the show. The focaccia is unreal. The service at the register is always super warm and helpful. I am always tempted by the fancy olive oil they stock but have so far been too cheap to buy it. Overall, solid coffee and a great concept."
"During my first few months in Rochester, this place has become my favorite go-to coffee spot, and I really appreciate the welcoming atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly, and they also serve the best bagels (available after 8:30)."
"I was sad to see Glen Edith go, but from my understanding it's all of the same employees just under different management. It's a cute place to grab a quick coffee and light breakfast - all fresh ingredients! I love how they sell some fresh products from Swan Dive, like their pasta sauce and blue cheese dressing! I had a delicious eggnog latte with Pittsford Dairy eggnog. Also shared buttermilk waffle and a breakfast sandwich. Reasonable prices too!"
"We enjoyed the new location. I was disappointed to read other people's review of the new management. We felt the food was tasty, and the drinks came fast. I enjoyed the new seating arrangements, and I liked that they opened the cafe up with more seating upstairs. They still serve Glenn Edith coffee, which is a win in my book! I recommend this cafe to everyone!"
