"The Puertorican food here is authentic and so delicious! It is not easy to find this type of food in the area. The vanilla tres leche is a must! Reasonably priced, and the service was good. The only thing I would change is to have more seating, but the place isn't huge, so it's understandable."

"Being one of the only authentic Puerto Rican restaurants in the area, this place offers good food at good prices. GOOD food, not AMAZING food. Dining in the restaurant is cramped and small but the advantage is fresh hot food, whereas if you order delivery your food will most likely arrive cold. The pernil here is a good choice. Beans are flavorless as well as the rice. They offer some traditional fried treats that are good and deserts that are most likely from another vendor. All in all if your in the mood for some decent food then by all means help yourself."

"The truck was at the Paramus Food Truck Festival over the weekend. Pernil y Arroz con gandules, was delicious! Will have to make a trip to the brick and mortar location because if the food was this good from a food truck, I can't wait to try it freshly made and still hot LOL. "I had been meaning to try El Lechon de Negron for a long time, and I finally had the chance to go with my wife today. We were both very impressed with the food and service. The restaurant is mainly a take-out place, but they do have a few tables inside and a few outside. We decided to eat outside on a lovely cloudy day. I ordered the pernil with arroz con gandules and cueritos (crunchy skin). It was a very flavorful dish, and the meat was cooked perfectly. My wife had the chicharron de pollo with white rice and red beans. She also enjoyed her dish, and she didn't even want to share it with me! For dessert, we both had the tembleque. It was a delicious custard-like dessert, and it was the perfect way to end our meal. I also had a double espresso, which was just what I needed to wake me up after a long day. The service at El Lechon de Negron was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful, and he made sure that we had everything we needed. We were so impressed with his service that we gave him a generous tip. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at El Lechon de Negron. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back!"
