"The owner, or local psych inmate has no idea what’s going on. Tried booking a long-term site with this con artist, she kept confirming dates then reneging on them. Finally booked a site that we didn’t want, and due to her incompetence the contract was pulled as we weren’t able to secure housing in time to confirm it. We wasted $500 as she claims “the owners” (which she claimed prior she was the owner) couldn’t afford it. This lady is out of her mind and happy to rip anyone off. Avoid at all costs, we’ve reported her to the county and BBB."
"Came to fish for a week. Great location to Lake Logan. Very clean, nice management, and beauty scenery. Will for sure return to this small, quaint rv park."
"This place is a gem! Surrounded by beautiful nature, excellent proximity to the parkway, and cute towns like Waynesville, and close to Asheville! Management is incredibly accommodating, and the people here are lovely. We are here for a few months and want to keep extending because it really feels like home."
"Had a wonderful short fishing vacation & stayed at Riverhouse! It is the best! The people there are awesome & included me for a fun campfire & cookout! Debi is great! Quiet, safe & clean! I will return! Thank you to everyone for your hospitality!"
"Just recently parked here while working. The park is small and intimate with a beautiful view of the river. Recently updated with new hookups, the drive and pads are all gravel. Most sites have the front of the campers facing the river. The backside is a beautiful field that I was told would be planted providing more privacy from the nearby road. Driving in after dark is absolutely picturesque with the lights illuminating the edge of the river. The park has gates at the entrance, but I haven't yet seen them closed. I think they may close after 10:00p.m. A great place for the travel nurse looking for a quiet place to be. Update: be aware flooding can and does occur here. I was told it was like a 100 year thing, but I have discovered it is more like once or twice a year. Fortunately, water did not get into my camper, but I was away and didn't fully realize what was going on until afterward."
