"The food is not that good. The meat balls are delicious though. The prices have gon nuts.I paid $17 for a plate of 12 tiny bite size meat balls. A small scoop of mashed potatoes, a small scoop of mixed vegetables and a small scoop of mac n cheese and a soda. The portions were very small."
"Breakfast at IKEA is one of the simple pleasures in life. It’s simple and cheap, and good enough for what it is. It’s only served for a couple of hours in the morning, so getting there in time is a fun race. You’re surrounded by a regular crowd of older folks who come every week or everyday. I go for the Bacon & Eggs plate, that comes with some potatoes too that are pretty dang good. It’s real basic and cafeteria quality, but a pretty big portion size that you really can’t complain for $4. Back in the pre-covid days it was $1.50 which was a ridiculous stea. And if you sign up for the free IKEA Family thing, you get free coffee or tea. The staff is friendly, the seating area is all recently renovated and bright & sunny, and its usually nice and quiet on weekday mornings. And when you’re all done, buss your tray, take a nice stroll through some fake bedrooms, and be off to start the day. Is it mass produced? Yes. Is it under seasoned? Yes. Is it actually somehow fantastic? Absolutely."
"Eating here at the ikea cafeteria reminds me of my high school cafeteria days! Its so nostalgic but service is much faster, things are cleaner, and the food is delicious! Plus, portions are decent sized for the price they charge. Who knew that gravy could taste so darn delicious with lingon berry sauce???? The meatballs are nice and chewy, not over cooked. Goes well with the small side of mixed veggies and mashed potatoes. Their garlic bread is bomb too....and the fries are just the way I like them with some skin on and crisp and not too soggy. Worth the trip to stop by and visit if you come to ikea."
"I really don't have a choice but to give them 5 stars. It's a decent cafeteria style restaurant in a furniture store. What are people expecting? A 5 star restaurant? The meatballs are what I always get for a quick lunch if I'm in Ikea. They're cheap and tasty. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Plus, they keep everything nice and clean. Also, the tiny flag they put on my meatballs made me laugh."
