"Probably the best pork chop I’ve ever had and I have had many at all types of restaurants. Highly recommend!!!"
"I’ve been going to Heneghan’s for years. Haven’t been there in a few months, but I was unpleasantly surprised. I’m not sure if they have a new chef, but the same dishes we would always order were very different this time around, and not in a good way. For example, they used to have the best Mac and cheese appetizer that I always looked forward to ordering. Now, it tastes like the it came out of an instant Mac and cheese box. Very disappointed. The other dishes we ordered weren’t nearly as good as they used to be. They used to have the best French Onion soup. This time is was very average at best. We really like the servers there though. They are very friendly, and attentive, but again, we were really dissatisfied with the food. Not nearly as good as it used to be, which is very disappointing because it was one of our favorite places to go."
"I’ve been coming to this restaurant for many years, always had nice bartenders and good service. Today, Friday August 4, 2023, I came into the restaurant with my husband and we sat at the bar, the bar was also completely empty. The Bartender, Kim seemed very annoyed when we sat down and gave us an attitude from beginning to end, terrible experience with her. First the Bloody Marys were not served the way they’ve always been, they were in small glasses and not mixed properly. She would not make any eye contact with us. We proceeded to order food and she got the order wrong. First thing never came out and food was not good at all this time, dried out chicken sandwich and I ordered the cauliflower wrap which was full of cabbage and no cauliflower. She never apologized or asked us how we were doing and didn’t even care to find out how the food was. Finally, I told her we were very unhappy with the service and she threw the bill at us to basically tell us to leave. I asked her what her name was and if she was new there because I’ve never had this bad experience at this particular place before, I always had a good experience but this will be the last time will be coming there due to your new bartender Kim. I suggest not being a bartender if you get aggravated by people sitting at the bar."
"Always a good comfort food place. A great starter is the crispy artichoke hearts with the lemon aioli. I love the French Dip Sandwich with a side of tater tots. Service is friendly and food is served quickly."
"My friend and I came here before a concert at Jones beach and were seated promptly and had a very nice waitress. We had some phenomenal appetizers. We tried the filet sliders (out of this world), the crispy artichokes w/lemon aioli (I could seriously drink that stuff it was so delicious) and the burrata w/fried zucchini. I cannot stress enough how yummy the food was. The manager, Shana, should be teaching restaurant management somewhere because she is truly grade A. Thank you for a wonderful experience!"
